Cribbage Patience Run Scoring

I just started playing this game, and it seems it doesn't count double/triple runs. If I have 5-6-7-7 in a hand, it's normally 2 runs of 3 cards to score 6 points (along with 2 for the pair). But the game only awards 3. Perhaps I missing something?
