This game is played with 2 decks of cards. First, 4 A's and 4 2's are laid out in two columns as the start of 8 foundation piles. The A's are on the left side and the 2's are on the right. To the left of the A's 4 columns of 3 cards each are dealt, these cards are called the ladies' side. To the right of the 2's 4 columns of 4 cards each are dealt, these cards are called the lord's side. The remaining cards form the stock pile. The object of the game is to move all the cards to 8 foundation piles. The foundation piles are built up according to suit in twos. The foundation piles starting with A should be built up as A, 3, 5, 7, 9, J, K, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, Q, while the foundation piles starting with 2 should be built up as 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, Q, A, 3, 5, 7, 9, J, K. On the ladies' side, only the bottom most cards can be moved. Empty spaces are not filled. On the lords' side, any card can be moved. Empty spaces are filled immediately by a card from the stock pile. The stock cards are turned over one by one into a waste pile. The top card of the waste pile can be moved to the foundations. There is no redeal of the stock cards. The more cards you move to the foundation piles, the higher your rank.
