Fourteens in a Cross Solitaire
Game Description
This game is played with 2 decks of cards. At the start of the game 48 cards are laid out in the shape of a cross, the length of which is 8 cards. You need to find adjacent cards with numbers that sum to 14 to remove them. A is 1, J is 11, Q is 12, and K is 13. Cards can be adjacent horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. After that, move cards towards the center to fill up the empty spaces that are left behind. For example if there is an empty space at the bottom right region of the cross, you can move the card that is to the right of or below the empty space to fill its place. After moving the cards towards the center, the remaining spaces are filled up with cards from the stock pile. The cycle repeats until you have removed all the cards. This game requires strategic thinking in both the removal of cards and the movement of cards. The more cards you remove, the higher your rank.
