(A wise, elderly female ape, Nova, Caesar's great-granddaughter, approaches Dr. Reed. She signs slowly, her eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and understanding.): "Caesar’s dream… a world where ape and human… could live in peace… Is it… still possible?"

(Dr. Reed, tears streaming down her face, takes Nova’s hand. She signs back): "It has to be."
