Arrow keys in small flash games

In asteroids, have not checked any other game, the arrow keys only control 2 functions. Can go left/right and forward/back if not shooting. Can shoot and go left/right but forward\back lock up. Same when shooting and going forward/back then left/right lock up. Running xp pro all updates complete and latest flash installed. I have searched this extensively and cannot find answer.

This is due to a technical restriction of how the keystrokes are captured and reported to the game. There's more or less nothing we can do about it.

I found on another forum a problem regarding blue tooth key boards. I change to usb key board and it now works.
