About asp & php of flash

I have done my flash game before but i want to add the ranking system into my game. There are a number of ways to do it. One is to call loadVariables in Flash to send the highscores to a php or asp script, in the script store the score into a database. You can find a lot of discussion or tutorial on that topic from macromedia\'s web site.
